Gwen Rosemary Jorgensen (born 25 April 1986 in Waukesha, Wisconsin) is a professional American triathlete and a member of the 2012 Olympic Team.
It was not until 2010 that Gwen Jorgensen turned to triathlon. At the World University Triathlon Championships in Spain she won the silver medal and was elected USA Triathlon Rookie of the year.
At the World Championship Series triathlon in London 2011, Gwen Jorgensen placed 2nd and thus earned a spot on the 2012 US Olympic triathlon team.
Gwen Jorgensen attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she swam and ran for the Badgers. She earned her Master's in accounting and passed the CPA exam. She is employed by Ernst & Young in Milwaukee where she is also resident.
